Eating the right food can help us stay healthy, young and beautiful. What then are those foods that can help you achieve this, you may ask. The following is a list of foods that make you look young and beautiful:

1. Potassium Rich Foods

Potassium-rich foods such as seafood are good detox foods. Eating foods high in potassium can improve the functioning and drainage of your lymphatic system that distributes fluid and nutrients throughout the body, assists in draining off excess fluids and protein, and removes toxins. If you are not very fond of seafood, eat a banana or drink apple juice or orange juice.

2. Lutein Rich Foods As Such As Eggs

The egg is a high-level protein source that can do wonders to your skin and hair. Egg yolks are a good source of lutein, a carotenoid (phytonutrient) found to prevent freckles in children, and sunburns. Leafy green vegetables, broccoli, corn and peas are also good sources of lutein.

In addition to that, garlic is widely known for its ability to enhance the body’s immune cell activity, and the faster the skin renews its cells, the better and younger it will look.

The foods that should be avoided include alcohol, processed foods, refined sugar, salt, high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), Hydrogenated Oils or Trans Fats among others.
